I realize that BF2 is going by the way side. I am greatful for the members that I have played with in this game and hope to stay in touch with them if this server decides to go away. The past three years I have played this game has been wonderful. Members have come and gone. Other clans have started. Games have come and gone. The members, however have kept me in this game. This world has alot of bad things happening to it and not a lot of it I can change. This server has introduced me to parts of the world that I will never be able to see in person. India, Australia, Germany, Georgia, Wisconsin, Connecticut, and the list goes on. These are places I got to visit, even if it was through the computer. If politicians would sit down and listen to the real people I have met in my virtual world, I think they would try harder in keeping the peace in this world.
I feel a part of me slipping away and there is nothing I can do about it. I have had the privilege of meeting a few of you, Tweezer and Kansas. I am greatful for that privelege. I hope some day I can meet Howler and Baker and anyone that comes to my area. You are all welcome in my home. I am not a traveler. I feel God put me where I am and I am comfortable with that.
The trust that I have with the most of the members is as if we were friends for a long time. Rebel was given control of my computer to work out some bugs. Thank you. Zdogtag has guided me through computer crashes. Thank you. Young Nosiah, and his youthful zest for the game and life was extremely enjoyable. I could go on. Each of you have become part of this grandpas life and I am Thankful
I don't know what the future holds for this clan or its members, but I wish you all well and good gaming. I am going to play this game as long asI can. Hope to see you all in this game or the next.

I agree with you, Spider. There have been some ups and downs but all in all I've had a blast playing with XH and I hope it continues, whether it's in BF2 or other games that we'll come across.
As a side note (hopefully it isn't de-railing this thread too much), I want to mention that I feel bad for my absence on the server (though I did manage to catch a round last week). However, I've been busy and unable to hop online until it's too late for the rest of the members. I'm by no means finished with Battlefield 2 and would love to keep playing, it's just that finding the time to do so has been much more limited for me now.

Agreed Spider. The memories and friends that have been created while playing in our server, as well as our allies have been AWESOME! We're definitely fighting through the doldrums right now, but we WILL be sticking around. We just need to keep supporting the server and it'll take care of itself. Unfortunately, I had to re-format my PC this last week. My SF disc is missing, and I'm having trouble loading the 1.5 patch to the new setup. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon so I can get back in and battle with everybody.

This is a great group! I'm not sure where the gaming world is going however will always check in with the XH group. You never know I may apply some day. I currently feel like I have an obligation with the group I'm in. However they understand me and if their interests move too far away from my game style, I would be able to move on with no hard feelings. Hopefully the XH group members I've played with realize some of my limitations, and also recognize I play for the team effort. I've played BF2 for a few years myself, however while gaming with XH, still received training. TV missile training was great! Never had a bad time gaming with XH. Did need to adjust to the rules slightly, I worked that out OK.

Spider, thanks for the heart felt words. You are a big part of the success of XH even when we were down you were there to keep us going as we all have been.
XH isn't going away that I know of...lol. The game may change or our play habits may change but I believe our clan tag and website will still be the same (until rebel crashes it lol). I think in recent months some have become busy, bored or distracted with other games to take up the time til a the new game comes out. Some of us have been playing Microsoft Flight Sim X and PR and still keep our XH brand there as well. So we aren't going away anytime soon. The thing about Microsoft FSX is that we can't use teamspeak so we have been on skype for that. If anyone wants on that with someone know and we all can get added as friends/contacts on it.
I would also suggest that even though PR is longer maps, the reality mod guys do keep it fresh which gives a little life to the BF2 game. If your wanting some good teamwork and some heated battles you should pop into that as well.
I most likely won't be going to BF2BC for a bit as I will need to upgrade my computer. I am starting this month to buy parts to build my own and probably wont have it done til May or June due to cash flow. So I will be hanging around the older games when I can. LOL

I think we could play any FPS game together and enjoy our time as we do now. Our outlooks towards gaming blend well to create an enviroment of friends and great fun. We now have the choice of buying a new enviroment this March. I'll still be playing BF2, PR, or any other that =XH= may be playing. I game to game with you guys. Besides, I have your email addy's!
