The Xtreme Honor Brigade is committed to ensuring that its members participate in a game playing area which is both fun and fair. In order to ensure this we have some ground rules which must be adhered to:
Each clan member is expected to treat every other clan member with respect. Any condemnation of any XH Brigade member or other non-squad member by another XH clan member on the XH server or publicly in the XH web forums is forbidden. Infractions should be reported to XH Leaders for immediate investigation and inquiry.
| Cheating
The Xtreme Honor Brigade strongly prohibits the use of cheats, trainers and any game or connection modification that would intentionally create an unleveled field of play. For purposes of XH, stats padding is also considered a cheat. Anyone caught cheating will be immediately dismissed from the squad by the XH Leaders (no exceptions, including XH Leadership Team) Infractions should be reported to XH Leaders for immediate investigation and inquiry.
| Members
All members of the Xtreme Honor Brigade are expected to play on the Xtreme Honor servers at least once each week. Playing the game in our server with other XH members is what will make us a strong team as well as get to know each other.
All members are expected to wear their tags in the following format: =XH=, when engaged in Battlefield 2 & COD4 online gaming. =XH= Clan members are proud of their association with =XH=. They do not play on =XH= servers under gaming aliases (unless they specifically receive clearance from an =XH= Founder). =XH= Clan members never impersonate another clan, player or another =XH= Clan member.
When playing in the XH server, Brigade members must join or create squad and play through team work. While playing in squads, it is expected members respect the command structure of the game and follow orders when given without question. The driving force for the Brigade is that we have fun as a team, play as a team, win or lose as a team.
It is understood that things happen in life beyond our control. Internet connections and hardware can prevent members from playing. Individuals can temporarily "burn out" and need to step away for a while. These would be exceptional reason for absence however some there needs to be some form of notification to the XH Leaders or appointed Squad leader.
We understand that this is "just a game" and there are times that life will require a leave of absence. If you need to take a leave of absence it is your responsibility to communicate your need to your team.
We require that you communicate to the team when you need an exception.
| Member Activity
1- Once you have become inactive upon your request, every 30 days a communication with XH Leaders must occur to extend that term.
2- If you are not active in our server for 14 days, you will automatically be placed as inactive. After 30 days with no communication with either the XH Leadership Team you will automatically be removed from the team.
3- As it is understood people need a break sometimes. The minimal expectation is just a little communication, this shows you have a continued interest in being part of this Brigade. If in fact a member is inactive for several months (with proper requests to do so), XH Leaders will discuss whether or not to continue inactive duty or release from the Brigade. This will occur on a case by case basis.
| Practicing and Competing
Practice will be scheduled as necessary and will be posted in the Brigade forums section of the website.
Matches and Competitions will be scheduled to accomidate the majority of members at the best of the Scrim Coordiantors ability. All matches will be scheduled for Central times.
Obviously there are going to be exceptions for not participating in scheduled practices or competitions.
In the event that you are not able to participate in a scheduled practice session prior to a competition, you are required to contact the assigned Squad Leader or leave a post in our Brigade forums.
If you want to be considered for scheduled competitions then you must sign up using the private forums under the thread for that event. Cut off for signing up is 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. The XH Tactical Officer is responsible for creating a roster for scheduled competitions and works off of the list of those signed up.
In the event that you are not able to participate in scheduled competitions and were expected to, you are required to contact the XH Tactical Officer, your assign squad leader or leave a post in our private forums.
If you don't participate in scheduled practices, don't expect to compete in scheduled competitions. Members that participate in the practice sessions prior to scheduled competitions will compete in the scrimmages/ matches.
| Communication
The Xtreme Honor Brigade uses TeamSpeak, our team website www.xtremehonor.com our Public and Private forums and e-mail to communicate.
Needless mic chatter is highly discouraged during any organized practice or match other than orders and game-relevant communication. In addition, mics should be muted or push-to-talk when not in use to reduce unnecessary noise, chatter, breathing sounds, and most importantly, lag. However, during non-practice nights or loose practices (less structure), strict enforcement of mic rules is not expected and members should feel free to enjoy themselves as they see fit so long as the rest of the Code is observed.
All members are expected to be on TeamSpeak when engaged in play or competition. If you're playing the game and not using TeamSpeak it could be considered as rude. Some members need to observe silence in the evenings within their homes. Please let your squad members know if you are not able to use TeamSpeak so they understand that you are not being rude. You are expected be "on" TeamSpeak even if you can't use your microphone.
All XH members are expected to be active in the Xtreme Honor website and forums. The forums are the place where we communicate matches, practices and announcements. It also lets squad members to get to know each other better It is not our responsibility to track each member down to explain events and related information.
| Use Of Foul Language
Foul language messages on the XH server are not tolerated by XH clan members (period). Swift discipline including XH Leaders warnings, reprimands or immediate dismissal will be taken. XH Brigade members must help police the XH server and not become involved in such language or discussions that are detrimental to the XH Brigade as a whole.
| General Conduct
As a member of the Xtreme Honor Brigade you are expected to conduct yourself with honor and maturity at all times on all servers. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Disrespect for members or guests on our servers will not be tolerated. Smack Talk is against our Code of Conduct.
| Lag
Lag is something that happens. If you experience lag, you should let the admins know about it once. Don’t dwell on the issue as it would be disruptive for game play for others who are trying to adapt to the conditions.
| Exclusivity
As a member of the Xtreme Honor Brigade, you agree that you will not be a member of any other competition team playing online games. If you are an Administrator on another NON-COMPETION server, it will be allowed as long as it doesn’t conflict or provide a conflict of interest with the Xtreme Honor Brigade.
| Notification of Violation/Dismissal
Only the XH Leaders can issue warnings and/reprimands. False statements to the XH Founders will not be tolerated. All warnings or dismissals made to XH Brigade members by the XH Leaders will be emailed to the XH clan member’s posted email address and will also be reposted for all members in the member’s only area of the website.
